Midgarda Operations, a product of Tech Knowledge Express LLC ("Midgarda," "we," "us"), provides field service management software to service businesses ("Providers"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — whether you are a Provider using our platform or a customer of a Provider ("End User") who receives communications through it.

Information we collect

Provider account data: name, email, phone number, company details, and the business records Providers create in the platform (customers, work orders, invoices, and similar).
End User data entered by Providers: contact details (including phone numbers), service addresses, equipment, and service history, entered by the Provider you do business with.
Usage data: log and device information generated by using the platform (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used for security and reliability.

How we use information

To operate the platform: scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and service communications on behalf of Providers.
To send service-related notifications (email and SMS) such as appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, and job status messages.
To secure, maintain, and improve the service.

We do not sell personal information.

SMS / text messaging

End Users receive text messages only in connection with service they have requested from a Provider — appointment confirmations, technician arrival notifications, and job status updates. Consent is collected when an End User provides their phone number while booking service (by phone or through an online request form) and agrees to receive service updates.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies with service activity (typically a few messages per service visit).
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
You can opt out at any time by texting STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@midgarda.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Sharing

We share information only with: (a) the Provider you do business with (your service records belong to them); (b) service vendors that help us run the platform (hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery), bound to use it only to provide those services; and (c) authorities when required by law. We do not share or sell personal information, including mobile numbers and SMS consent data, for third-party marketing.

Data retention & security

Business records are retained while the related Provider account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Data is encrypted in transit, access is role-restricted, and backups run nightly.

Your choices

Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.
End Users may direct questions about their service records to their Provider, or to us at contact@midgarda.com.
Providers can export or delete their account data by contacting us.
